Joseph Armstrong was in prison for five years, coming to Dismas House in 2000 for six months. “The most important thing I learned at Dismas House was that you need a good solid family structure as your foundation for success.” Focused on this, Joseph served as an Americorps volunteer for a year at Dismas House and on the St. Joseph County Community Corrections Advisory Board. He will return to school in the fall to earn a degree in business and notes, “I have a beautiful wife, 3 kids and 4 grand kids.” |
